Santorini is a beautifully simple strategy game with surprising depth. Players move their builders around a three-dimensional island, constructing buildings as they go and racing to reach the third level before their opponent.

Each turn, move one of your builders to a neighboring space, then build one level of a building next to the builder you moved. Buildings can rise up to three levels, with a dome placed on top to block further construction. The first player to move a builder onto the third level wins—but careful planning is essential, as every move changes the board for both players.

For even more variety, Santorini includes 40 God and Hero powers that give players unique abilities and dramatically change the strategies available. Easy enough to teach to younger players but offering plenty of depth for experienced gamers, Santorini is a standout abstract strategy game.
