How much are you willing to spend to live in high society? In High Society, you and up to four opponents compete in auctions for luxurious prizes, carefully balancing your desire for wealth and prestige against the risk of spending too much.
Bid on exquisite jewels, vintage wine, grand opera, and other luxuries to increase your reputation. But not every card is worth winning. Negative and divisor cards can quickly turn your fortune against you, and there’s one rule you can’t ignore: the player with the least money at the end of the game cannot win, no matter how many points they have earned.
This edition of High Society, designed by Reiner Knizia, has been modernized and reprinted in Allplay’s signature small box. It includes new cards featuring a blind auction and an effect that doubles your money before the final elimination.
